Specialized S-Works Aethos frameset – save 40%

Was £5,000, now from £2,999 | View offer

Okay so we're starting with not a full bike and you'll still have to get the parts to build it up if you don't already have them, but the S-Works Aethos is one of the most celebrated bikes to come out of Specialized in the last few years and a 56 weighs just 588g. Sounds like a good time to get preparing for the next hill climb season.

Bike cleaning is a necessary chore, but it can be made a lot quicker and easier with a quality bike cleaner. Muc-Off's cleaner is highly effective - just spray it on, leave for a few minutes and wash off and it should get rid of most of the muck your bike has accumulated on a damp'n'dirty ride. It's biodegradable ad shouldn't damage your bike's seals and components.

Silca Ultimate Tubeless Sealant – save 19%

Katherine Moore

Was £42 now £34 | View offer

Who doesn't love an extra slosh of sealant in their tyres? Silca's is smarter then most, as it contains chopped, recycled carbon fibre. That makes it more difficult to set up, but provides a robust, quick seal should you get a puncture. All sealant dries out over time, but Silca's system allows you to top up the latex carrier through your valve with its Replenisher, so you save on maintenance longer term.
